Traci Moore holds a bachelor's degree in Studio Art/Photography from Scripps College, and a Certificate in Creative Writing from Phoenix College. Her writing has appeared in or is forthcoming in Amoskeag, Emprise Review, Sleet M
agazine, Long Story Short, Foundling Review and elsewhere. In 2011, her short story, "If Pictures Could Fly", was a finalist for the Martindale Literary Prize.
As a writing student and editor since 2005, Traci has a wealth of experience discussing words. Her drive to inspire all creative people shines through her insightful commentaries, her enthusiastic support of every project, and her ongoing connections with her writing community.
From 2007-2009, Traci was the director and editor of Monsoon Voices Live Literary Magazine. Like a literary journal, the reading series accepted submissions for writing and music, and the best work was performed live every six weeks in Phoenix and Oro Valley, Arizona. With Traci’s dedication and interest in promoting others, Monsoon Voices celebrated the poetry and fiction of four Pushcart Prize nominees, the music of an Arizona Blues Hall of Fame inductee, and the distinguished work of over seventy writers and musicians.
Recently a staff writer for Natural Awakenings wellness magazine, Traci lives in Tucson, Arizona with her husband and son. She is currently at work polishing several short stories and articles.
